Thanks for stopping by! I’ve spent the last few years transitioning from a career in tech to the nutrition world. I completed my master’s degree at Tufts University in 2020 and am a Registered Dietitian. I have a background in clinical research, project management, health writing and marketing, am currently the Research Lead at an incredible health and nutrition company called Veri.
Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to work with some incredible people in the nutrition field, from academic Deans to award-winning journalists. As a nutrition professional, I believe it’s crucial to be an astute reader of nutrition literature and to be able to translate the science into clear language that is easily understood by the average consumer. There is so much confusion around food and nutrition these days, so it’s imperative that we health professionals be skilled communicators.
Outside of nutrition/health, I spend a lot of my time reading, running (slowly), and traveling with my husband. I love to read fiction, memoirs, essay collections, and non-fiction, and some of my favorite authors are Hanya Yanagihara, Melissa Broder, Kazuo Ishiguro, Ottessa Moshfegh, and Hanif Abdurraqib.
